Faculty Research and Productivity (FRAP)

Welcome to FRAP… the Faculty Research and Productivity network!

If you identify as a member of a historically excluded or underrepresented group, or study/ engage with members from said groups… then FRAP is for you.

The primary purpose of this interdisciplinary effort is to help Texas State faculty and staff gain momentum for research and productivity in a community with other scholars who study and/or engage with historically excluded or underrepresented groups. These FRAP Network sessions affords mentorship, collaboration, a structured format, small group interactions, opportunities to receive and provide feedback specific to your productivity needs, accountability, and sharing of resources. Please feel free to share FRAP with colleagues and organizations you are a part of!

This effort is led by Dr. Jasmine Austin, program director, in partnership with the Translational Health Research Center. Please direct questions and access for the meetings to Dr. Jasmine Austin at
